emerging Private Equity is edited by Lisa Bushrod. Lisa edited European Venture Capital Journal, the leading European venture capital and private equity magazine, between 2000 and 2006. During her tenure she won the 'Most Outstanding Contribution' award at the British Venture Capital Association's annual Private Equity/Venture Capital Journalist of the Year Awards 2004. Of this award the judges said: "Under the editorship of Lisa Bushrod, the EVCJ team provides reliable and outstanding coverage of the private equity & venture capital industry in the UK and across Europe… Lisa and her team make an exemplary contribution to the journalism in this area." Under her editorship, the EVCJ team also picked up awards in 2003 in the 'Specialist writers' category, in 2004 in the 'Specialist' category and in 2006 in the 'Investor – Institutional' category.

Lisa has been a financial journalist for more than a decade and aside from holding the editorship of EVCJ for more than six years, her previous posts include those of Commissioning Editor of the leading M&A and buyouts title Acquisitions Monthly and Editor of the leading air, rail and shipping finance title Transport Finance.
