Actis has appointed Ngozi Edozien as its new head of West Africa. She joins from her position as the founding CEO of the Equity Vehicle for Health in Africa, a vehicle established in 2008 with funding from the International Finance Corporation, the African Development Bank, Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft and the Gates Foundation.

Edozien replaces Simon Harford, who will move to Johannesburg as the head of Actis’ growing portfolio group for Africa and Latin America.
